Post Officers

The Fuller-Taylor Post 915 was formed immediately following World War I and received its charter in 1921. The charter members were; George G. Traub, Jis Morren, Harold Vrooman, Earl Lynch, Earl Landers, Harry Rice, Olin Hoyt, Perry Van Der Meid, George Perfield, Lorenzi Snell, George Whaley, Stephan Farnett, Charles Gregory, Frank Petrie Harold Boots and Harold Crabtree.Today the legion is very active and contributes to our community in numerous ways. Some of the services it provides include:

LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS

1. Furnishes and installs American flags on all veterans graves in all cemeteries in the Town
2. Furnishes and installs flags on all flagpoles in the village for national holidays
3. Conducts military funeral services for eligible veterans. (upon request)
4. Color guard participates in up to ten parades annually
5. Four $500.00 Scholarships awarded annually to P.V. Moore graduates
6. Provides assistance to families and children in need
7. Donates to local charity campaigns
8. Provides hours of service to the community
9. Provides emergency aid to veterans
10. Provides donations to benefit children and youth
11. Assists veterans who are patients in VA medical facilities
12. Assists family members of reserve military personnel called to active duty
