Cemetery Tours & Hikes

Currently there are six Hillside Cemetery Hikes (or tours).  These were originally created by Trustee Heather Stevens as a fun way for Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts to explore the cemetery and learn about some of the people who are buried there. 

All of the hike’s focus on a specific area of the cemetery and the answers can be found “in order” walking east to west in most cases.

As more hikes are created we will post them for everyone to us to learn about our cemetery, the amazing people who are laid to rest there and to be used as a family activity to enjoy our beautiful community.

Also coming soon will be our collection called “A Walk Through Hillside Cemetery”.  This will be a complete list of those who are buried in the cemetery, photos of their headstones, inscriptions, photos, obituaries etc. Compiled by Heather & Kayleigh Stevens
